Peptide evidence library

Findings attach to claims, not whole peptides. Search by compound or outcome, then read the evidence basis, verdict, confidence and date together.

The peptide evidence library contains 32 claim-level records. Each record separates what research exists from what that research can support, so a preclinical evidence basis does not become a human benefit claim and a supported narrow outcome does not become a whole-compound endorsement.

The original 30 records were checked and reviewed on 10 August 2026. Two records were added, and the BPC-157 recovery/pain record received a literature update, following scientific and clinical sign-off confirmed on 6 September 2026. Each record retains its source dates.

Evidence basis and verdict answer different questions

Evidence basis describes whether the claim has relevant human, limited human, preclinical, absent or conflicting evidence. Verdict states supported, mixed, unsupported or insufficient for the exact claim. Neither label rates the safety or value of a whole compound.

Evidence basis

  • Relevant humanDirectly addresses the claim.
  • Limited humanSmall, indirect or restricted.
  • Preclinical or indirectLaboratory, animal or materially different intervention.
  • No reliable evidenceNo suitable evidence for the claim.
  • Unclear or conflictingFindings differ or do not answer cleanly.

Claim verdict

  • SupportedReliable evidence supports the precise scoped claim.
  • MixedReliable findings point in different directions.
  • UnsupportedRelevant human research tested the claim and was convincingly negative.
  • InsufficientThe evidence cannot yet support or refute the claim.

Use the scope

A verdict travels only with its population and outcome

Start with the claim wording. Check whether the population, formulation and outcome match your question. Then read the evidence basis, verdict, confidence, limits and update trigger together.

Product testing is a separate layer

No paper or authorisation can establish what is inside a different vial. Use the testing and COA guides for identity, quantity and microbiological questions.

If symptoms may be urgent, use the warning-sign route rather than an evidence record.

Editorial experience

From our work: how we checked this page

For topical-map item C-003, Peptide evidence library was checked as a distinct editorial task, not treated as a generic peptide page. We reviewed 0 unique external sources and 36 internal destinations in the page, then checked that the opening answer, headings, source descriptions and linked next steps stayed within the same claim boundary. The count records links in the published page and is not a claim that every source carries equal evidential weight.

Eleni Kiromitis checked study design, biomedical evidence, evidence directness and laboratory context. Dr Stavroula Nikitopoulou checked clinical claims, adverse effects, contraindications, red flags and patient-facing safety wording. Each reviewer stayed within the remit published on the governance page. Yianni Kiromitis retained responsibility for source verification, editorial decisions and correction management.

We did not use patient experience, a personal treatment outcome, seller testimony or an assumed product identity to support this page. The publication did not independently test a vial for this review. Where a page refers to a laboratory result, that result applies only to the named sample, method and attribute. We kept uncertainty beside the conclusion, recorded which source supports each material claim, and checked that the visible review date matches the publication record. A new controlled study, regulator update, corrected source, analytical report or credible safety signal can trigger reassessment through the public correction route.
